SHB Hebezeugbau GmbH offers a selection of railroad technology components in the field of train and push equipment. In close cooperation with ETQ Eisenbahntechnische Anwendungen GmbH, we work in the areas of research, development, design and testing to offer innovative solutions for rail transportation.
Our diverse production program includes various types of locomotive traction equipment with tractive forces of 1.0 MN and 1.5 MN. We also supply hydraulic combination shock absorbers and complete buffer systems of category C and L in accordance with EN 15551.

SHB manufactures DZ 20 L and DZ 20 LS drawbars, which were developed for connecting locomotives and wagons. The drawbars are used to dampen impact shocks in the train formation and impress with their compact design, consisting of highly tempered steel, spheroidal graphite cast iron and energy-efficient polymer springs. Our draw gears are designed for maximum energy absorption of up to 40 kJ and breaking loads of 1.0 MN and 1.5 MN and meet the requirements of EN 15566. TSI type certificates and EC declarations of conformity are available for both types.

The hydraulic combi shock absorbers
SHB manufactures EP 70 D and EP 100 D hydraulic combination shock absorbers, which have been specially developed for use in side and diagonal buffers. Our shock absorbers ensure effective damping of moving rail vehicles such as wagons and locomotives and help to reduce the loads on vehicles and cargo during operation. Our solutions are ideal for shunting impacts and stresses when driving in a train formation.
SHB supplies complete category C and L side buffers for use on wagons.
